Shed 1 Distillery have announced that HMRC have given them permission to make hand sanatiser, with Zoe and Andy now sourcing materials and indeed producing their first batches.
The price of alcohol has rocketed and stocks are scarce, so the pair are unsure how much longer we will be able to do this. Their priorities are distributing to the local hospice, St Mary’s, and other vulnerable groups, as well as volunteers helping those in the community who are also desperate for sanatiser.
The charities and groups are struggling, as are so many people, so Shed 1 will be gifting them this vital resource, with any extra money raised donated to charity.
